We meet at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church on most Fridays at 7PM. Join us to see what our Family Pack is about!
Welcome to the Pack! We hope you enjoy many new friendships, adventures, and memories with your scout. Here is some information to get you started, and if you have any questions, please ask! Your den leader, cubmaster, and all of our leaders want to help you feel at home.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ) :
WHO can join: Pack 2220 is open to all elementary-aged students in grades K through 5. Many of our scouts attend Stafford County Public Schools, especially Stafford Elementary and other schools in the Courthouse area. Please note:
All Kindergarten and first grade scouts need an adult partner at all meetings and events.
COST: Our pack's annual dues for 202 are5-2026 TBD. To join scouting, you'll go to beascout.org, create a login, and fill out an application for Pack 2220. (If your family wants to join but is unable to pay, please contact Amy at acb2006@gmail.com.) We also fundraise throughout the year, primarily with popcorn sales, to fund special events like campouts and derbies.
TIME COMMITMENT: Grades 1 - 5 generally meet from 7:00 to 8:00 PM most Fridays throughout the school year, with some weekend events as well (camping, hiking, pinewood derby, etc.). We typically do not meet on the Friday of a long weekend, or during inclement weather. Kindergarteners (Lions) will have fewer meetings, about 1 - 2 per month. We hope you will bring your whole family and get involved with our community. Good attendance is encouraged, however we understand that many scouts have other commitments to balance. If you are going to miss a meeting, just tell your den leader, who will help you catch up on what you may have missed.
UNIFORM: See this page to learn all about the uniform.
LEADERS: The leaders of our pack are parents just like you, whose children participate in scouting. We are all volunteers, and we meet together often to ensure the success of our pack. Your contribution is valuable!
Can I try it out first? Yes! The best way to learn if scouting is a good fit is to visit an event. Our parent community is very friendly and will make you feel right at home. You can also check out our Facebook page or send an email to acb2006@gmail.com to see what fun events are coming up.
